Ruby on Rails 4.2 as the core accounting engine on the BookPals SaaS platform: multi-tenant organisations with isolated ledgers and tax configurations, double-entry bookkeeping from draft through approved status, role-based permissions for client–accountant collaboration, and a token-authenticated REST API for the native iOS client. Server-side PDF generation for financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance) via Wicked PDF. Admin dashboard with CKEditor for content and subscription management without developer intervention.
